What is the Bill of Rights?

1. What are the Bill of Rights?
The Bill Of Rights are the first 10 Amendments in the U.S. Constitution.

2. Which 3 of the 10 are most important to you and why?

1. Amendment 1: Freedom of Religion, Press, Expression. Which means to me is that you can be any Religion you like and say what ever you like where and when ever you want.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

2. Amendment 8: Cruel and Unusual Punishment. Which means to me is that you can be treated differently than no other U.S. Citizen.
Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.

3. Amendment 13 - Slavery Abolished. Which means to me that NO one can be treated or act as a slave in the United State No any where.
1. Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.

2. Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.

3. How have our rights Changed over the past 200 years?
Yes our rights have changed over the past 200 years. It gave people to fell safe and free as an American citizen.

4. What rights are missing? What would you add and why?
Many rights are missing but the biggest one would be that young teenager's(13-17). I wouldn't remove any Amendments because EVERY Amendment is important.

5. Are there rights that we don't need or that you don't agree with? Which would you take away and why?
I believe that all the rights are there for a reason to protect the citizens of the U.S.A.
And also i would take away any of the rights!
